Real Madrid’s midfielder Álaro Morá is set to join Liverpool for a reported €30 million in a move which would make him the biggest transfer fee ever paid by a Spanish club.
The €30m transfer fee would make Morata the most expensive player to leave a Spanish team.
According to the Independent, Liverpool are the most likely destination for the 25-year-old, who is currently on international duty with Spain.
Liverpool are currently in the midst of an expensive rebuild after losing the likes of Raheem Sterling and Sadio Mane to injury.
The club also announced that the club would be selling midfielder Emre Can and goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
However, Liverpool have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s 22-year old German winger Sebastian Kehl, who would be one of the most sought after talents in the European Championship, which begins next month.
