The woman was asked if she wanted to go on the runway in the dress-ups competition, but decided to wear her wedding ring instead.
Her name is Jodi, she told the magazine.
Jodi, from Southampton, said she did not expect the dress she wore to the competition to be as memorable as her engagement ring.”
Then when it’s all said and done you have to say, ‘Okay, I’m done’.”
Jodi, from Southampton, said she did not expect the dress she wore to the competition to be as memorable as her engagement ring.
Jodi said she wore a red and white dress with a pink lace dress trim and a veil and sat in the back row.
She told the BBC: “I’ve got the ring in my hand, I’ve got my wedding ring on my finger, and I was like, ‘This is amazing.
I’ve never felt so good’.”
Jodi said she thought the competition was all about fashion and that the man’s daughter had been the best dressed contestant.
“He was in the audience with me, and he had a little girl and she was the best dresser.”
She was just in the room with the other dressers, the other girls.
“So it was very exciting, and then I thought, ‘That’s it.
This is what I wanted.
This was it’.”
Joddi said the day was a big one for her, and she said she wanted her parents to remember her when she got married.
She added: “They were both really supportive, and that was the biggest part for me was just getting to go home and see them.”
